Cyber Threat Analyst

.As a Cyber Threat Analyst, you will play a vital role in safeguarding digital assets by monitoring, investigating, and mitigating cyber threats. You will work closely with security teams to analyze incidents, identify root causes, and recommend effective mitigation strategies. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge security tools, stay ahead of emerging threats, and contribute to the development of secure systems. You will produce detailed reports, conduct research on threat landscapes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance organizational security posture. Accountabilities:
- Perform incident response analytics during and after cyber events to determine root cause and implement mitigation measures
- Conduct log analysis and investigations using advanced security tools to identify the extent of compromises
- Monitor and research current Advanced Persistent Threats, cyberattack techniques, and evolving threat landscapes
- Investigate alerts, anomalies, errors, intrusions, and malware to provide evidence of compromise
- Prepare technical reports and documentation with recommendations for mitigating risks
- Collaborate with team members to enhance security protocols and ensure best practices are followed
Requirements
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in cyber threat detection, incident response, and security investigations
- Knowledge of attack techniques, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies
- Proficiency in research, data collection, and reporting
- Excellent organization, time management, and ability to work under pressure
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to present technical and non-technical information effectively
- Experience working in collaborative, team-oriented environments
