Cyber Security Trainer

Job Title: Cyber Security Trainer Location: Nagpur Sadar Organization: Edverciity About the Role, We are looking for a passionate Cyber Security Trainer to train students on core and advanced concepts of cyber security. The role includes delivering classroom/online sessions, preparing content, conducting practical labs and guiding students for projects and certifications. Both freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply. Key Responsibilities Conduct classroom and online training sessions on Cyber Security topics such as: Information Security Fundamentals Network Security & Firewalls Web Application Security Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT) Ethical Hacking basics Security Tools (e.g. Nmap, Wireshark, Burp Suite, etc. Design and update training content, PPTs, assignments and lab exercises as per industry trends. Conduct practical, hands-on sessions in the lab to ensure concept clarity. Prepare students for internships, projects, interviews and certifications. Regularly assess students through tests, quizzes, and practical evaluations. Provide individual guidance and doubt-solving sessions to students. Maintain training reports, attendance and performance records. Coordinate with Academic/Placement teams for smooth batch management and student support. Eligibility & Qualifications Education (Any of the following): B.E / B.Tech (CS / IT / Cyber Security or related branch) BCA MCA Experience: Freshers with strong knowledge and interest in Cyber Security can apply. Experienced trainers / industry professionals in Cyber Security will be given preference. Required Skills, Good understanding of: Operating Systems (Windows / Linux basics) Networking concepts (TCP/IP, OSI Model, Routing, Switching basics) Cyber security basics, common attacks and security controls Familiarity with security tools and platforms (advantage). Strong presentation and communication skills in English and Hindi (or local language as applicable). Ability to explain technical topics in a simple and practical way. Passion for teaching, mentoring and continuous learning. Preferred (Added Advantage) Any Cyber Security / Ethical Hacking certification (CEH, CompTIA Security+, etc.) Prior experience as Trainer / Faculty in IT or Cyber Security domain. Experience in handling student batches or corporate trainings. Employment Type: Full-time (Trainer / Faculty) Salary For Freshers: As per skills and performance in interview.
