Cyber Security Trainer

The Cyber Security Trainer will be responsible for delivering high-quality training on cybersecurity modules, conducting practical labs, preparing students for industry certifications, and guiding them on real-world security scenarios. The trainer should have strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and a passion for teaching.

Key Responsibilities
Training & Delivery

• Conduct classroom and online training sessions on cyber security fundamentals and advanced topics.
• Train students on modules such as Network Security, Ethical Hacking, Penetration Testing, Web Application Security, Firewall & IDS/IPS, Malware Analysis, and Incident Response.
• Guide learners through practical labs, simulations, and real-time attack scenarios.
• Teach usage of security tools like Kali Linux, Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite, NMAP, Nessus, and SIEM platforms.

Curriculum & Content Development

• Create training materials, lab exercises, presentations, and assessments.
• Continuously update course content based on evolving cyber threat trends and new tools.
• Develop live project scenarios for hands-on student experience.

Student Mentoring & Evaluation

• Assess students through quizzes, practical tests, and project evaluations.
• Provide one-on-one support, feedback, and guidance.
• Prepare students for relevant certifications (CEH, CompTIA Security+, etc.).

Industry Awareness & Tool Expertise

• Stay updated with global cyber attacks, vulnerabilities, and security frameworks.
• Explain concepts like OWASP Top 10, SIEM, SOC operations, Cloud Security basics, and Zero Trust models.
• Demonstrate secure practices and real-world mitigation techniques.

Administrative & Coordination Duties

• Maintain records of attendance, assessment scores, and student progress.
• Coordinate with academic counselors and placement teams for smooth training operations.
• Participate in seminars, workshops, and technical events as required.

Skills & Requirements

• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, tools, frameworks, and practices.
• Hands-on experience in Ethical Hacking, Vulnerability Assessment, and Penetration Testing.
• Proficiency with Kali Linux and security testing tools.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for beginners.
• Industry certifications such as CEH, Security+, CySA+, or similar (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
