Cyber Security Analyst

As an Associate Security Consultant at CloudSEK, you will be a key member of the SVigil Security team responsible for analyzing security incidents, interpreting scan results, generating detailed reports, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your role will involve solving product and cybersecurity-related problems of varying complexities, acting as a focal point for customer problem resolution, and providing timely and accurate analysis for security incidents. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyze all security incidents tagged by SVigil. - Interpret scan results to assess severity and potential impact of vulnerabilities and misconfigurations. - Generate detailed reports highlighting vulnerabilities, risks, and recommended remediation strategies. - Stay updated with industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in vendor risk management. - Act as the first point of contact for customers, handling inquiries and building relationships. - Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs. - Communicate progress of initiatives to internal and external stakeholders. - Other duties as assigned by management. **Required Skills:** - Logical thinking and solid team player. - Ability to interact confidently with clients and prioritize workload. - Creative problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies. - Strong presentation skills and excellent written and verbal communication. - Technical proficiency, organization skills, patience, and ability to collaborate effectively. **Technical Expectations:** - Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and threat landscape. - Intermediate level knowledge of networking, internet, and protocols. - Intermediate knowledge of web application security frameworks and penetration testing techniques.
