About the Role:

Cyber Security Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, detect, and respond to

  security events and incidents

  across networks, systems, and applications.
• Perform

  vulnerability assessments

  and assist in remediation efforts to reduce security risks.
• Conduct

  threat analysis

  and risk assessments to identify potential security gaps.
• Maintain and update

  security tools and systems

  such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, antivirus, and endpoint protection.
• Develop and maintain

  incident response plans

  and participate in incident investigations.
• Analyze logs and alerts from security monitoring tools to detect anomalies or suspicious activity.
  
• Ensure compliance with

  security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards

  (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as

  CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP (Associate or Full), CISM

  , or

  GIAC

  .
• Experience in

  cloud security

  (AWS, Azure, GCP) or

  DevSecOps practices

  .
• Familiarity with

  penetration testing and ethical hacking tools

  (Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap).
• Knowledge of

  security automation and scripting

  (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Experience working in a

  Security Operations Center (SOC)

  or incident response team.
• Understanding of

  regulatory compliance and audit processes

  .
