Must Have Skills
· Strong understanding of Secure by Design principles for systems and networks.· In-depth knowledge of network security — including VPN, encryption, firewalls, routing, switching, and user access management.· Solid grasp of networking concepts and OSI layers.· Familiarity with network topologies, telecom protocols, and architectures in large-scale environments.· Understanding of how telecom networks are structured, secured, and managed.· Ability to interpret and analyze High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents and architecture diagrams.· Hands-on experience in risk management and vendor management for security operations.· Excellentcommunication and analytical skills, with a solution-oriented mindset.
Certifications preferred:
· CISSP (Highly Preferred)· CompTIA Security+ (Highly Preferred)
Good to Have Skills
· CISM, CISA, or additional Cyber Security / Network Security certifications.· Experience working in telecom or large enterprise network environments.· Knowledge of cloud security (AWS / Azure / GCP) or DevSecOps.
