Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Analyst to join our growing cybersecurity team and will report to Global Director Infrastructure and Security. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting Osborns IT infrastructure by monitoring, identifying, and responding to potential security threats. You will work closely with IT teams to implement effective security measures and ensure data protection, confidentiality, and integrity across the company's systems. Role & responsibilities : Monitoring and Analysis : Continuously monitor network traffic, systems, and applications for security vulnerabilities and threats. Analyze and respond to security alerts, incidents, and breaches. Perform threat intelligence gathering and correlate findings from multiple sources. Incident Response : Actively participate in investigating and resolving security incidents, including data breaches, malware attacks, and unauthorized access. Develop and implement incident response plans and conduct post-mortem analysis. Vulnerability Management : Identify and assess vulnerabilities in Osborns infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems. Conduct regular security assessments, penetration tests, and audits as for the guidelines. Security Tools and Technologies : Utilize security information and event management (SIEM) tools, firewalls, antivirus, encryption software, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Configure and maintain security tools to ensure effective monitoring and prevention of security incidents. Collaboration and Training : Collaborate with internal teams to improve overall security posture. Provide training and awareness programs to employees about cybersecurity best practices. Communicate findings and recommendations to management. Reporting : Maintain and update documentation of security incidents, analysis, and solutions. Provide regular reports on the security status and improvements made to management. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as a Security Analyst or in a similar role, ideally in a large or complex IT environment. Strong understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Hands-on experience with security tools, including SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Manage engine), vulnerability scanners, and antivirus software. Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS) and security configurations. Familiarity with cloud security and security architecture for cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Understanding of threat intelligence tools and frameworks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred candidate profile: Security certifications such as CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) . Experience with security automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell). Knowledge of data privacy laws and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). Experience in incident response and digital forensics.
