CUTTING INCHARGE

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Cutting In-charge to oversee the daily operations of the cutting department in our knitted garment cut-to-pack unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cutting processes, fabric handling, and production coordination — with mandatory ERP knowledge to manage and monitor department activities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and supervise all cutting operations to meet production timelines.
• Ensure accurate fabric utilization and minimum wastage through efficient marker planning and cutting methods.
• Monitor marker making, fabric spreading, and cutting to maintain quality and accuracy.
• Coordinate with merchandising, production, and quality departments for smooth workflow.
• Maintain and update all cutting data in ERP systems – fabric issuance, consumption, cut reports, and wastage.
• Ensure ERP entries are accurate and up-to-date for real-time production tracking.
• Oversee bundle preparation and ensure correct cut panels reach sewing on time.
• Supervise staff and workers in the cutting section; ensure safety and housekeeping standards.
• Verify fabric shade, pattern alignment, and quality before issuing to production.
• Maintain daily cutting, fabric reconciliation, and productivity reports.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for the upkeep of cutting equipment and machines.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of ERP systems – mandatory.
• Expertise in knitted fabric cutting, spreading, and marker planning.
• Excellent planning, organization, and leadership abilities.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word).
• In-depth understanding of cut-to-pack workflow.

Qualification & Experience:

• Diploma / Degree in Textile Technology, Garment Manufacturing, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in a knitted garment factory (cut-to-pack setup).
• Proven experience in ERP-based cutting department management is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
