Job Summary:

We are hiring a Customer Service Executive to manage coordination between customers, the sales team, and the tax preparation team. The role involves document collection, workflow management, client communication, and timely follow-ups required for accurate US tax return processing. This is a full-time night shift role aligned with US business hours.

Role & responsibilities

  • Coordinate between clients, sales team, and the tax preparation team for smooth process flow.
  • Collect, review, and organize customer documents such as W-2, 1099, passport, and tax questionnaires.
  • Share verified documents with the preparation team and track the status of each tax return.
  • Communicate preparation team queries to clients and collect required information.
  • Follow up with customers for missing documents, pending payments, signatures (Form 8879), and approvals.
  • Maintain accurate case status in CRM, Excel trackers, or workflow tools.
  • Send draft and final tax returns to clients and ensure timely closure of all cases.
  • Provide daily/weekly updates on pending, in-progress, and completed files.

Preferred candidate profile

  • 0-1 years of experience in client coordination, customer service, operations, or documentation handling.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Excellent follow-up ability and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work full-time night shifts (9 PM to 6 AM).
  • Experience in US Taxation, accounting, or BPO processes is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, CRM, or workflow management tools.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple client cases simultaneously.
