Job Summary:

Role & responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a pleasant shopping experience.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products based on customer preferences or services.
• Provide accurate product information, pricing, and availability.
• Prepare invoices, and handle billing processes.
• Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure proper display of products.
• Handle customer inquiries, returns, and complaints courteously.
• Build lasting relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the stores performance.
• Coordinate with warehouse or inventory team for product availability.
• Follow up to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
• Collaborate with other departments to address customer needs.
• Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services.
• Stay updated on product knowledge, company policies, and customer service best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• Matriculation & above, HSC.
• Proven experience in counter sales, retail, or a customer-facing role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with billing software or POS systems.
• Sales-driven mindset with a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of Kannada & English (speaking & writing) for the vacancy in Bangalore is must.
• Knowledge of Konkani & English (speaking & writing) for the vacancy in Goa is must.
• Knowledge of Malayalam & English (speaking & writing) for the vacancy in Thiruvananthapuram is must.
