Job Description

The Customer Service Assistant is responsible for providing high-quality customer support by responding to inquiries, resolving complaints, processing orders, and offering reliable information about products and services. As the first point of contact, this role ensures customer satisfaction by delivering timely and courteous assistance while working closely with various departments to solve customer issues efficiently.

1. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
  • Assist customers by providing accurate information about products, services, policies, and procedures.
  • Process customer orders, returns, exchanges, and payments following company guidelines.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints and concerns in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Log and maintain accurate records of customer interactions using CRM or customer database systems.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as sales, shipping, and billing to resolve customer issues.
  • Assist in administrative tasks including managing documentation, invoicing, and reporting.
  • Support promotional activities such as selling gift cards or vouchers when required.
  • Participate in maintaining a positive and customer-focused work environment.
  • Uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information with discretion.

2. Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Prior customer service or administrative experience (1+ year preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, empathetic attitude.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite and customer service software (CRM, order processing systems).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a busy environment.
  • Problem-solving ability and capacity to handle difficult customer situations calmly.
  • Knowledge of company products and services is advantageous.
  • Additional language skills can be a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹14,086.00 - ₹20,864.04 per month
