Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) Engineer to oversee the design, operation, and maintenance of our wastewater treatment facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with environmental standards, optimize plant performance, and support sustainable wastewater management practices. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the Sewage Treatment Plant. Troubleshoot technical issues in pumps, blowers, motors, and treatment units (MBBR/MBR/SBR/UF technologies). Conduct regular inspections, water quality testing, and ensure effluent parameters meet PCB norms. Prepare operation and maintenance (O&M) reports, log sheets, and compliance documentation. Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules. Supervise plant operators, technicians, and support staff. Coordinate with environmental agencies, consultants, and contractors. Implement safety procedures and promote a safe working environment. Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree/Diploma in Environmental Engineering / Civil Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or related field. 2–5 years of experience in sewage/wastewater treatment plant operations. Knowledge of MBBR, SBR, MBR, UF, or conventional treatment processes. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with CPCB/SPCB norms and environmental compliance requirements. Excellent communication and team management skills. Preferred SkillsExperience in STP automation (SCADA, PLC systems). Knowledge of energy-efficient wastewater treatment technologies. Hands-on experience with sludge management and reuse/recycling practices. Salary & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience.
