External Communications professional

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement communication strategies for CSR initiatives, focusing on local print media.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local journalists, editors, and media houses.
Draft and release press notes, newsletters, feature articles, and success stories.
Collaborate with CSR project teams to highlight impact-driven stories.
Monitor media coverage, analyze public perception, and prepare reports for management.
Organize community outreach events, press meets, and media briefings.
Ensure consistency of communication with companies brand and CSR guidelines.
Engage with local political leaders, government officials, gram panchayat members, and key opinion leaders.
Produce articles and features that positively highlight companies initiatives in local media.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
Minimum
7 years of experience
in communications, with strong focus on
local print media
.
Proven success in handling media relations and communication campaigns (CSR or nonprofit sector preferred).
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
Proficiency in Marathi
(mandatory).
Strong networking and interpersonal skills.
Preference for candidates with an active social media presence.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
