Design Engineer - Pressure Die Casting About the Role:We’re seeking a visionary Die Casting Design Engineer to revolutionize our mold and tooling development process. You’ll leverage Creo (PTC Creo) to design high-performance die-casting solutions that push the boundaries of efficiency, precision, and innovation. Key Responsibilities:✔ Design & Development:Create advanced die-casting molds and tooling using Creo, optimizing for manufacturability, cost, and performance.Develop detailed 3D models & 2D drawings (core/cavity, gating systems, cooling channels, ejector mechanisms).Apply mold flow simulation insights to enhance part quality and reduce defects.✔ Process Optimization:Collaborate with toolmakers and production teams to minimize cycle times, reduce scrap, and improve yield.Refine tooling layouts to align with high-volume production requirements.✔ Innovation & Continuous Improvement:Stay ahead of industry trends, integrating new materials, technologies, and methodologies into designs.Troubleshoot production issues and implement data-driven design improvements.Qualifications:✅ Must-Have:3+ years of hands-on experience in die-casting mold & tooling design.Expertise in Creo (PTC Creo) – 3D modeling, assembly design, and 2D drafting.Deep understanding of pressure die casting processes (gating, venting, cooling, ejection).Strong knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) principles.
