Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Credit Officer to join our team at Equitas Small Finance Bank Ltd. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 7 years of experience in the BFSI industry, with expertise in credit operations.
Roles and Responsibility

Manage and process loan applications according to company policies and procedures.

Conduct thorough credit analysis and risk assessments to determine client creditworthiness.

Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure timely payments and resolve any issues that may arise.

Collaborate with internal teams to identify new business opportunities and grow the bank's customer base.

Monitor and report on credit portfolio performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to mitigate risks.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all credit-related activities.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of credit operations, including credit scoring, underwriting, and risk assessment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other banking software applications.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and achieving targets.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience working in a similar role within the BFSI industry is preferred.
