Credit Controller

As an Assistant / Deputy Manager - NWC at Schindler India, you will play a crucial role in managing Net Working Capital and Credit Control. Your responsibilities include maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders to control Accounts Receivable, following up with customers through various means like dunning letters, statements of accounts, email reminders, and phone calls. You will be required to travel frequently to customer locations with stakeholders to resolve reconciliation matters for accounts and key account customers. In this role, your proactive approach will involve making calls to predefined customers to identify potential issues at an early stage, setting collection priorities based on customer risk profiles, and managing automated dunning runs. You will also ensure that reconciliations are up to date, write-offs are part of the monthly cycle of activities, and have a detailed knowledge of Indian Direct and Indirect taxes. Interaction with the Legal Team on the collection of outstanding amounts will be a part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this position, you should hold an MBA in finance, accounting, or a related discipline. Additionally, you should have at least 4 years of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in credit/collections, direct & indirect taxation. Strong credit skills, knowledge of net working capital, fluency in English with knowledge of the local language, and analytical skills with a strong financial acumen are essential for this role.
