and ideation for performance marketing campaigns
Plan and produce
emotionally charged storyboards
for 10–15 second ad videos
Collaborate with in-house animators, editors, and game designers to bring concepts to life
Design creatives that
tap into behavioral psychology
— fear of missing out, ego, risk, thrill, social competition, etc.
Develop ad variations based on audience segments and game genres (e.g., crime, horror, romance, adventure)
Work closely with marketing and UA teams to test concepts and iterate based on results
Maintain creative consistency across video ads, banners, and in-app assets
Guide freelancers or agency partners when needed

You’ll Fit Right In If You:

Have
5+ years
of experience in game advertising, storyboarding, or directing animated content
Have a
portfolio of successful mobile game ad creatives
(RMG or casual multiplayer games preferred)
Understand
psychological triggers
in mobile gaming (dopamine loops, win streaks, rivalry, etc.)
Know how to build
short, dramatic visual stories
that convert within 5 seconds
Are fluent in communicating your ideas to both creatives and marketers
Are data-informed and open to testing, failing, and optimizing
Can brainstorm at speed and switch styles across genres (comedy, drama, suspense, etc.)

Bonus Points If You:

Have directed video ad shoots or 2D animation pipelines
Are familiar with Unity or have worked alongside game dev teams
Understand compliance and creative constraints around RMG advertising
