JOB DESCRIPTION – CREATIVE ASSOCIATE

About the Role: The Story Owner You are the visionary behind each wedding project, owning the narrative from start to finish. Emotion & Culture Deeply understand people, emotions, diverse cultures, and narrative arcs to craft compelling stories. Visual Storytelling Translate authentic human moments into powerful and meaningful visual narratives. Creative Leadership This is a leadership role, driving the creative vision from preproduction to final delivery.

This is not an administrative or coordination role.

Pre-Production & Creative Planning Understanding the Couple Meet couples & families to understand personalities, relationships, emotional dynamics, and the overall wedding vibe. Visual Development Develop mood boards, visual references, tone aesthetics, and shot concepts for the wedding. Story Creation Create conceptual story arcs for the wedding film and prewedding film. Music & Theme Select music references and thematic direction aligned with the couple's story. Venue Planning Conduct venue visits (recce) to plan lighting, compositions, setups, and creative opportunities. Team Briefing Prepare briefing documents for photography, cinematography, and digital teams.

On-Ground Creative Supervision (During the Wedding): Creative Anchor Be present on wedding events as the creative anchor. Capture Storytelling Ensure the photography & cinematography teams capture storytelling moments, emotions, details, rituals, and family dynamics. Conduct Interviews Conduct interviews / conversation prompts with the couple & close family to capture real, intimate narratives. Social Content Ideate and guide reels, BTS content, and story-led social edits. Visual Direction Provide light supervision and gentle direction — guiding the visual language without micromanaging.

Post-Production & Film Creation Editorial Process • Ensure all data is transferred, organized, and documented properly at the studio. • Create structured editorial notes + story briefs for editing. • Sit with editors to shape: • Narrative flow • Emotional pacing • Music + Voice layering • Story transitions Collaboration Work closely with: • Editors • Colour Grading Artist • Sound Designer • Motion Graphics Artist Final Delivery Ensure each film has: • A unique identity • A fresh aesthetic • A personal title • An emotional arc that lands Refine the final cut before it goes to Director's approval (Luv & Team) and then to client.

What We're Looking For • Minimum 2+ years experience in creative storytelling (Weddings/TV/Film/OTT/Reality). • Strong emotional intuition + visual understanding. • Ability to observe people and find the story within them. • Someone who values originality over templates. • Comfortable being on-ground during events and travelling for wedding shoots. • A balanced personality — empathetic + organised.
