Job Description

Designation: Counter Sales Executive Location: Nashik Experience : Min. 1 Year Salary: 15,000-20, 000 Joining Status: Immediately A Counter Sales Executive is responsible for directly interacting with walk-in customers, understanding their needs, providing product information, handling sales transactions, and ensuring excellent customer service at the sales counter. The role requires strong communication skills, product knowledge, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships. Key Responsibilities:Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner at the sales counter. Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products or services. Provide accurate product information, including features, specifications, and pricing. Generate sales bills/invoices and process payments through cash, card, or digital transactions. Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities. Handle customer queries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively. Maintain an organized and well-stocked display counter. Track inventory levels and coordinate with the store manager or warehouse for replenishment. Ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with store standards. Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets. Prepare daily sales reports and update customer records. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business. Required Skills & Competencies:Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of sales techniques and customer handling. Good product knowledge and ability to learn quickly. Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills. Ability to handle cash and operate billing systems or POS machines. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Customer service orientation with a positive attitude. Educational Qualification & Experience:Minimum: 12th pass or diploma in sales/marketing/commerce. Bachelor’s degree preferred (depending on industry). Min. 1 years of experience in retail/counter sales/customer service. Familiarity with billing software and sales reporting tools is an advantage. Work Environment & Conditions:Based at the retail outlet, showroom, or sales counter. Regular interaction with walk-in customers. May require standing for long hours. Work timings may include weekends or extended hours, depending on the business.
