Role Overview

As a

Counselling Psychologist at Toprankers

, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the emotional health, academic confidence, and personal development of our students. You will work closely with learners, parents, and academic teams to provide counseling interventions, conduct workshops, and foster a safe environment where students can thrive both personally and academically.

Key Responsibilities

Provide

individual and group counseling

sessions to students for concerns such as stress, anxiety, motivation, performance pressure, and personal challenges.Conduct

psychometric assessments

and interpret results to guide students on self-awareness, career clarity, and emotional resilience.Design and deliver

workshops/webinars

on themes like stress management, exam readiness, emotional regulation, and communication skills.Collaborate with academic counselors and faculty to

identify students at risk

and provide timely interventions.Maintain

confidential counseling records

and adhere to ethical practices.Support

parental counseling

to align expectations and foster a supportive home environment.Contribute to building a

positive student experience

by creating mental health resources, toolkits, and awareness initiatives.

Requirements

Master’s degree in

Counseling Psychology / Clinical Psychology / Applied Psychology

from a recognized institution.

2-4 years

of relevant experience in academic counseling, student support, or therapeutic practice (freshers with strong internships may also apply).Strong knowledge of

adolescent psychology

, emotional wellbeing, and career-related stressors.Excellent communication and empathy skills, with the ability to build trust with students and parents.Ability to manage group dynamics, conduct workshops, and create engaging student wellness programs.Ethical, empathetic, and committed to student growth and well-being.
