Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Create and maintain a centralized price databank for all products, including historical prices and per-kg cost rates.
Prepare costing for RFQs, tenders, and new inquiries by extracting and analyzing data from the ERP system.
Ensure close coordination with Design and Purchase teams to achieve accurate and timely costing for RFQs and tenders.
Conduct costing discussions and reviews with HODs to finalize product pricing and cost assumptions.
Track and manage price revision activities and regularly monitor EBIT/product margins to ensure profitability.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience in costing of complex products, involving large and detailed BOMs, particularly electro-mechanical assemblies.
Familiarity with techno-commercial costing, including technical specifications, commercial terms, and pricing impact.
Strong understanding of fluctuating metal prices, raw material indices, and current industry cost trends.
Hands-on experience using ERP / CRM systems for preparing, validating, and tracking product costings.
