Costing and Estimation-PEB

Position Overview:

The Costing and Estimation Engineer/Manager – PEB is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for Pre-Engineered Building projects. The role involves detailed analysis of drawings, specifications, and client requirements to ensure technically sound and commercially viable proposals. The position requires close coordination with design, procurement, and production teams to achieve cost efficiency and support project bidding and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Study and analyze architectural and structural drawings, tender documents, and specifications to prepare cost estimates.
• Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost break-ups for materials, fabrication, and erection activities.
• Estimate the cost of raw materials (steel, sheeting, fasteners, etc.), consumables, labor, and transportation.
• Coordinate with Design, Procurement, and Production teams for technical inputs and cost validation.
• Source and evaluate vendor quotations to determine the most cost-effective options.
• Prepare and submit project proposals and tenders in line with company standards and client requirements.
• Conduct cost analysis for ongoing and completed projects to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Support management during price negotiations and provide necessary technical clarifications.
• Assist in preparing cost reports and project budgets for internal review.

Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of PEB design, fabrication, and erection processes.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Time management and ability to handle multiple tenders simultaneously.

Educational Qualification:

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
