B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to calculate material, labor, manpower, and overhead costs.
Collaborate with design, procurement, and production teams to gather cost data and understand project requirements.
Develop cost estimation models using Excel and other costing software/tools.
Perform cost comparison studies, support vendor negotiations, and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
Maintain and update costing databases, price lists, and standard cost templates.
Participate in design reviews to provide cost-related insights and support design-to-cost initiatives.
Analyze cost variances during and after project execution to identify areas for improvement.
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Strong problem-solving attitude and ownership mindset
Experience in R&D or product-based manufacturing environments
