Costing Analyst – Textile Industry

Job Purpose:

To analyze and determine the cost of production, including raw materials, labor, overheads, and logistics, for textile and apparel products. Ensure accurate cost estimation to support pricing, budgeting, and profitability analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Calculate product costing based on materials, labor, overheads, and other relevant factors.
• Analyze Bill of Materials (BOM) and consumption data to determine accurate cost per unit.
• Coordinate with merchandising, production, and procurement departments to get updated rates and production plans.
• Evaluate yarn, fabric, dyeing, printing, trims, and accessories costs for different styles.
• Update and maintain costing sheets for all new and existing products.
• Assist in pricing decisions by providing profitability analysis.
• Prepare cost comparison reports for various suppliers and processes.
• Monitor variance analysis between actual cost and standard cost; report discrepancies.
• Support management in budget preparation and cost control strategies.
• Work with the ERP/MIS system to ensure all costing-related data is accurately recorded.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
