As a leading recruitment consultancy firm, Synergy Resource Solutions is assisting a prominent MNC Manufacturing company specializing in screening & auxiliary solutions for Petrochemicals, Food, beverages & Chemicals industries. With over 200 employees and a plant located at Sanand GIDC, Ahmedabad, our client is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Internal Sales Engineer (Estimation & Proposal) within the Energy & Processing Technologies division. The ideal candidate should possess 7-10 years of relevant experience and will be based in Ahmedabad. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for estimating costs and lead times for Energy & Processing Technology products, conducting basic engineering calculations, and coordinating activities related to pricing and delivery estimation for a variety of Oil & Gas industry items. Your main objective will be to provide application and design engineering support to a specific market team to ensure the accomplishment of sales and margin targets. Your key responsibilities will include thoroughly analyzing RFQs/tenders to estimate costs and develop customer proposals, executing fundamental engineering calculations, and overseeing the initial design of products within established guidelines. You will need to have a comprehensive understanding of quality standards, project timelines, and budget constraints for major projects. Additionally, accurately costing critical projects, preparing customer proposals in line with company policies, and providing technical support and solution recommendations to customers will be integral to your role. To excel in this position, you must hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, possess 7-9 years of experience in technical sales, estimation/costing, and product engineering, particularly in medium to heavy engineering fabrication companies. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications is crucial, with additional experience in designing, drafting (including CAD, MathCAD, FEA) being advantageous. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, the ability to review and interpret bid specifications and contractual language, and proficiency in conducting technical presentations are essential requirements. Furthermore, the successful candidate should be adept at performing cost analysis, reviewing quotations, and delivering company presentations. Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), excellent analytical skills, a positive attitude, and a customer-centric mindset are also key attributes required for this role. In this dynamic and challenging position, you will closely collaborate with Projects and Engineering teams on a daily basis to ensure the seamless execution of orders. Active participation within the team to achieve company objectives and goals is essential for success in this role.,
