Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Costing

Carry out Product costing for the products of the company
Analyze and monitor production costs, profitability, and cost trends
Prepare detailed reports on cost findings for management

2. Budgeting & Cost Control

Develop and monitor annual budgets across departments.
Lead cost control initiatives, especially related to BOM (bill of materials), labor costs, and overheads.

3. Accounting & Compliance

Supervise day-to-day accounting operations in line with applicable Accounting Standards
Ensure timely closing of books, audits, and reconciliations.
Liaise with statutory and internal auditors.

4. Working Capital Management

Monitor receivables, payables, and inventory turnover to optimize cash flow.
Manage vendor payments, customer credit policies, and cash forecasting.

5. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

Ensure timely filing of GST, Income Tax, TDS, ROC and other regulatory returns.
Stay updated with changes in tax laws and their implications for the company.

6. ERP & Systems Implementation

Ensure proper utilization of SAP ERP system for finance, inventory, and costing.
Recommend automation of financial processes and data analytics tools.

7. Liaison & Coordination

Coordinate with banks for working capital, term loans, and other financing needs.
Support cross-functional teams (production, sales, procurement) on financial implications of operational decisions.
