Job Title : Corporate Communication & Marketing

Total Experience Required : 3-6 years.

About the Role


The Assistant Manager – Corporate Communication & Marketing will plan, create, and execute internal and external communication initiatives that keep employees informed and engaged.


Responsibilities


  • Internal Communication

  • Disseminate industry news via daily mailers to keep employees informed and aligned.
  • Plan and execute internal communication campaigns and contests to drive employee engagement.
  • Conceptualize and manage internal events (e.g., safety campaigns, energy initiatives, leadership sessions) in partnership with relevant functions.
  • Create and publish internal newsletters (e.g., VOICE, CoE, EHS, Insights) to share updates, success stories, and initiatives.
  • Support development and rollout of internal communication policies, including crisis communication guidelines.
  • Contribute to the conceptualization and roll-out of an internal news platform and employee app (as assigned).


  • External Communication & Media Relations

  • Draft, review, and disseminate press releases on company achievements, CSR initiatives, and business milestones.
  • Coordinate media meetings and interviews for leadership to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.
  • Facilitate media site visits and stakeholder interactions to showcase operations and promote transparency.
  • Support media training and messaging workshops for leadership and key spokespersons.
  • Develop authored articles and industry stories in collaboration with internal experts for external publications.
  • Apply for relevant industry awards to reinforce brand reputation and recognition.


  • Digital & Website Management

  • Maintain and regularly update the corporate website with accurate and current content (boilerplates, press releases, awards, blogs, etc.).
  • Set up and maintain a structured media section on the website to host press releases and coverage.
  • Develop and curate blog content in collaboration with business units to support SEO and thought leadership.


  • Content Development

  • Develop and curate content for internal and external communication – mailers, newsletters, press releases, articles, speeches, videos, and blogs.
  • Conceptualize and coordinate video series (e.g., employee and farmer stories, experience videos) in partnership with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Support the development of coffee table books capturing company history, culture, milestones, and special projects.
  • Contribute to the conceptualization and production of a multi-lingual corporate anthem and other brand-building audio-visual assets.


  • Knowledge Management & MarCom Assets

  • Set up and maintain a MarCom repository to archive and organize communication assets (press releases, creatives, videos, campaign materials) for easy reference.
  • Ensure structured documentation and retrieval of communication materials over multiple years.


  • Stakeholder Management & Coordination

  • Liaise with business units, HR, EHS, CSR, and other functions to gather inputs for communication.
  • Coordinate with external agencies (creative, PR, digital, production) for design, content, and campaign execution.
  • Work closely with leadership to align communication with strategic priorities and organizational goals.


Qualifications


  • MA in Corporate Communication / MA in Public Relations / MA in Mass Communication / MBA in Marketing / Communications / MBA in Corporate Communication (offered by a few institutes) / PG Diploma in Corporate Communication or Public Relations


Required Skills


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Content development for multiple formats (mailers, newsletters, press releases, blogs, scripts, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of media relations and PR practices.
  • Exposure to digital and web content management.
  • Ability to coordinate events, campaigns, and video projects.
