About the Role

Corporate Lawyer

Key Responsibilities

Provide legal counsel on corporate, commercial, and business matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Advise management on company structure, joint ventures, mergers, and acquisitions.
Ensure compliance with corporate laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Conduct due diligence for corporate transactions and assist in documentation and closing.
Represent the company in legal proceedings or coordinate with external counsel when necessary.
Manage intellectual property, employment law, and data protection matters where relevant.
Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations affecting the companys operations.
Develop and implement legal risk management strategies.
Support corporate governance and board-related activities, including preparing board resolutions and maintaining statutory records.

Qualifications and Skills

Education:
Bachelors Degree in Law (LLB) required; Masters Degree in Law (LLM) preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in corporate or commercial law (in-house or law firm).
In-depth knowledge of corporate, contract, and commercial law.
Strong negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
High level of integrity and professional ethics.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
