Job Description

POSITION:

LOCATION:

Role Overview:

Legal Counsel (8–10 years)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end legal support across R&D, manufacturing, HR, and corporate operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Medical Device Rules, Companies Act, IPR laws, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs, MoUs, vendor/distributor agreements, licensing and collaboration contracts.
  • Coordinate with IP attorneys for patent filings, licensing, and technology protection.
  • Support corporate governance, board documentation, RTIs, legal notices, and tender-related matters.
  • Liaise with external counsel for litigation, arbitration, and regulatory proceedings.
  • Interface with government bodies and regulatory authorities on approvals and compliance.

Requirements

  • LLB/LLM from a recognized university.
  • 8–10 years’ experience in legal, compliance, or corporate law—preferably in medical devices, healthcare, or tech.
  • Strong expertise in contract law, IP, corporate governance, and tenders.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
