Role: Copywriter

We’re looking for a sharp, curious, and creative Copywriter with 1 year of experience to join our Communications & Culture team. This role is perfect for someone who loves writing, enjoys conceptualising content for social media, and is excited to bring ideas to life across formats like posts, carousels, videos, and reels.

You’ll work closely with designers, strategists, and video teams to shape Schbang’s digital presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.

Key Responsibilities

• Write clear, engaging website blogs and LinkedIn articles.
• Create compelling copy for social media posts, carousels, and creatives.
• Conceptualise ideas and write scripts for reels and short-form videos.
• Assist during shoots with scripting support and on-set coordination when required.
• Help build narratives and story flows for case studies and campaign breakdown videos.
• Contribute to content strategy through research, insight gathering, and trend analysis.
• Bring fresh ideas for content buckets, formats, creative concepts, and campaigns.
• Complete a short assignment as part of the screening process.

Requirements

• 1 year of hands-on copywriting experience (agency or brand-side).
• Strong fundamentals in writing, research, structuring, and ideation.
• Ability to write across multiple formats, including:
• Blogs
• Social media copy
• Carousels
• Foundational marketing content
• Comfortable working with AI tools and basic marketing-tech communication.
• Background in marketing, media, communications, or advertising (degree or course preferred).
• Must be Mumbai-based; relocation support is not available within the offered budget.
• Comfortable working from Schbang’s Lower Parel office.
