Coding Ninjas was founded by Ankush Singla, Kannu Mittal and Dhawal Parate, dawning from an educational background of IITs and Stanford who bring onboard their rich working experience in companies like Amazon, Facebook, Cars24, and other top startups in India. As pioneers in EdTech, we are continuously working on curating student-centric learning programs and are progressing towards becoming the de facto coding education company in India.


The company has raised more than 22 Million USD till date and is a subsidiary of InfoEdge (Naukri.com, IIMJobs, Jeevansathi,etc.) with the latter, acquiring a majority stake in Coding Ninjas.


With our exhaustive learning programs, 1:1 mentor support for effective doubt resolution and over 400+ doubts being resolved per hour, our focus lies on crafting learning experiences that equip candidates with learning, application and demonstration of capabilities in the software development domain.

We’re looking for a Copy Lead who can strike the perfect balance between leading a team of young, passionate writers and contributing individually to high-impact projects. You’ll be closely involved in creating compelling marketing campaigns that promote our learning products across digital platforms.


You’ll play a dual role — as a mentor to the team and a strong individual contributor (IC) on projects that require sharp thinking and standout copy. You would be expected to improve the quality of output while also helping the team members to evolve and upskill in writing for email campaigns, performance marketing ads, app/web, social media, etc.


You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across design, marketing, product, and business teams, taking ideas from conception to execution while maintaining a high creative bar and performance focus.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead, mentor, and guide a team of copywriters to deliver high-quality, performance-driven copy across channels.
  • Take ownership of key individual projects — including campaign scripting, video content, ad copy, social storytelling, brand messaging and more.
  • Collaborate with creative stakeholders to conceptualize fresh, impactful ideas that align with marketing goals.
  • Responsible for overall quality of copy delivered. Review and refine all digital communication — from emails and banners to scripts and performance static ads.
  • Work closely with designers and marketers to develop cohesive creative assets that tell our brand story effectively.
  • Help the team to stay up to date with content trends and continuously upskill in areas like storytelling, marketing psychology, and content formats.
  • Ensure every piece of content — whether yours or the team's — meets the highest standards in terms of clarity, creativity, and relevance.



Requirments:


  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the relevant field
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your individual work.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and conceptual skills.
  • Strong grasp of grammar, structure, and creative copy techniques.
  • Good research skills with an eye for insights that drive compelling storytelling.
  • A great team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with Google Docs, Sheets, Meet products and AI tools that help you improve creative output.
