Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our team. This is a full-time on-site role where the cook will be required to stay at the company accommodations (Himtrek Stays) on a permanent basis. Accommodation will be provided free of cost, and the cook will also have access to food supplies.

The Cook will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting meals for guests according to the menus provided. The role also includes ensuring the freshness and proper storage of ingredients, maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene, adhering to food safety guidelines, and collaborating with the team to create a delightful dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present meals as per menu requirements.
• Ensure ingredients are fresh and stored appropriately.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Manage kitchen inventory and assist in supply planning.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet guest expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven cooking experience and strong culinary skills.
• Knowledge of a variety of cooking techniques, ingredients, and recipes.
• Ability to follow menus and maintain presentation standards.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle feedback constructively.
• Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
• Formal culinary training or certification will be considered an added advantage.
