About the role

• Location: Vasant Kunj, New Delhi; this is a Work From Office position aligned with current in-office policies across Indian companies for collaboration and production workflows .

Key responsibilities

• Design static and animated creatives for digital channels: social media, performance ads, emails, website banners, and print collaterals as needed .
• Edit short and long-form videos for campaigns, reels/shorts, testimonials, destination highlights, and brand stories; manage end-to-end post-production (cuts, color, sound, graphics) .
• Create motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, and simple animations to elevate storytelling across platforms .
• Collaborate with marketing to convert briefs into concepts, maintain brand consistency, and deliver on deadlines for travel launches and seasonal campaigns .
• Optimize assets for platforms (formats, codecs, compression, aspect ratios) and manage organized project files and asset libraries .
• Stay updated on design/video trends and propose fresh creative ideas for Himtrek’s trek, stay, and itinerary content .

Required experience

• Minimum 6 months of proven experience in a combined Graphic Design + Video Editing role with a portfolio of relevant work (links required).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro; plus After Effects for motion preferred or Similar Tool like Canva; familiarity with Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve is a bonus .

Skills and competencies

• Strong visual sense: layout, color, typography, pacing, and storytelling tailored to travel audiences .
• Motion graphics/animation basics, sound editing fundamentals, and asset optimization for social platforms .
• Detail orientation, time management, ability to handle multiple projects, and comfort with feedback loops .

Nice to have

• Experience crafting travel, hospitality, or tourism creatives (destinations, itineraries, property showcases) .
• Knowledge of print basics (CMYK, bleed) and simple camera handling for social-first shoots .

• Mode: Onsite, Work From Office at Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, to enable quicker production cycles and cross-team collaboration common in hybrid-to-office Indian workplaces .
