Controls & Instrumentation Engineer

As a Controls & Instrumentation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing control systems for industrial machinery and processes. Your responsibilities will include: - Control panel Design and building - Siemens PLC programming - SLD and MLD - Control logic building from P&ID - Specifying, sourcing, and integrating instrumentation devices such as sensors, actuators, and controllers - Developing and maintaining calibration procedures and documentation for instrumentation systems - Conducting testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of control systems to ensure efficiency - Working closely with design engineers, operations teams, and project managers to meet technical requirements - Ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices - Performing functional and performance testing of system components - Providing technical support and consultancy for instrumentation and control-related projects - Staying updated with the latest technological advancements in automation and control engineering Qualifications & Skills required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering (or related field) - Experience in PLC, DCS, SCADA systems, and industrial automation - Strong knowledge of instrumentation principles, control loops, and process automation - Proficiency in programming and configuring control systems - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and logic diagrams - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong communication and teamwork abilities Preferred Certifications include: - ISA Certified Control Systems Technician (CCST) - Professional Engineer (PE) License - PMP Certification (for project management roles) This is a full-time position with a salary range of Rs.25,000 to Rs.40,000(CTC).
