Controls Assurance and Testing Analysts

Role Overview: EY is seeking a Controls Assurance and Testing Analyst to join their Technology Consulting team. As a part of the Client Technology unit, you will play a key role in managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise identity and access management controls and governance program. Your responsibilities will include leading the design, build, and deployment of these controls, collaborating with IT and business teams, and ensuring compliance with security standards. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design, build, and deployment of identity and access management controls and governance program compliant with enterprise security standards. - Collaborate with senior leadership and IT teams to align strategies with business objectives. - Implement changes to department policies and procedures to meet evolving business needs and achieve department objectives. - Act as a point of escalation for complex issues, analyze security impact, and notify leadership of security issues or quality control events. - Work with external auditors to respond to audit findings and ensure completeness and accuracy of responses. - Stay updated on access management and information security discipline and contribute as a thought leader across the enterprise. - Participate in vendor software evaluation teams, analyze security administration features, define requirements, and test upgrades. - Support internal and external audits, proactively identify gaps in IT controls, and contribute to risk management frameworks and policies. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 8 years of related work experience, with at least 5 years in risk management, controls assessment, or cybersecurity governance. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Computer Applications from a recognized institution. - Supervisory experience preferred with proficiency in assessing and testing IT and cybersecurity controls. - Hands-on experience with IAM tools, governance platforms, and PAM. - Strong understanding of cybersecurity regulations and compliance standards. - Excellent technical writing, documentation, and communication skills. - Problem-solving mindset and relevant certifications preferred.
