Role Overview

WebXpress is seeking a Control Tower Monitoring Executive to be placed at customer location. This role is to support real-time monitoring of vehicle movements and trip performance through the WebXpress Control Tower platform. The role requires proactive monitoring of GPS signals, trip milestones, exceptions, and alerts, along with timely handling and escalation of operational issues. This is a critical operational role that ensures customer shipments move as per the planned schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor all live trips, vehicle locations, GPS signals, and trip progress on the Control Tower dashboard.
• Track deviations from route, stoppages, delays, ETA changes, and other exceptions flagged by the system.
• Review exceptions raised in the ticketing system and act on them promptly.
• Investigate issues such as GPS disconnect, prolonged halts, route diversions, or delayed departure/arrival.
• Communicate with drivers, transport supervisors, or client teams to resolve exceptions.
• Escalate unresolved or critical issues to the appropriate stakeholders (client teams, operations leads, transport managers).
• Maintain accurate logs of incidents, follow-ups, and closure actions.
• Coordinate with internal WebXpress technical support if any system-related issue arises.
• Prepare shift-wise monitoring reports, exception summaries, and escalation logs.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, SLAs, and customer-specific monitoring protocols.
• Work in rotational shifts to support 24x7 operational monitoring requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate

  ; candidates with strong relevant experience will be considered.
• 1–2 years of experience in Control Tower operations, GPS monitoring, transport tracking, or logistics operations.
• Basic understanding of GPS systems, vehicle tracking, trip planning, and logistics workflows.
• Comfort working with IT systems such as transport management systems (TMS), GPS dashboards, or monitoring tools.
• Good communication skills for interaction with drivers, warehouse teams, transport management, and clients.
• Strong problem-solving ability and ownership to drive incident resolution.
• Ability to work in shift-based environments and handle time-sensitive situations.
