Role & responsibilities - 1. Vendor Master Checks all documents required for empanelment vendor Verifies PAN Card number and other documents, statutory numbers and declaration Clarifies doubts and empanels vendor 2. Material Master Creates material master on SAP. Ensures all documents required for the execution of the work order is provided to the contractor / vendor 3. Assisting in Pre- qualification of Contractors & Consultants Assists in shortlisting vendors basis quotation rates, reviews and recommendations by HO/ peers Assists in conducting reference checks for vendors- profile of the company, quality of the contractors work in the market, 4. SAP support functions Assist in training users in SAP (Part of the SAP core team) Resolves queries regarding process and system related issues on SAP Documents SAP user Manual Process 1. Process Adherence Complies with company defined guidelines and processes Adheres to project timelines 2. Process Improvement Identifies processes/procedures in own work area that need improvement Recommends process improvement ideas to streamline efficiency/costs/productivity Undertakes process improvement activities in own work area Preferred candidate profile - experience in material vendor management Perks and benefits
