Through our MICE vertical, we also curate and manage international group travel programs, incentive trips, and conferences for institutions and corporates.

Position Overview

The

Contracting Manager (Outbound) – MICE

will be responsible for establishing, negotiating, and managing contracts with international vendors, DMCs, hotels, and service providers to ensure best-in-class pricing, quality, and experiences for outbound MICE and educational travel programs.This role requires deep industry knowledge, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain strategic vendor partnerships across multiple destinations.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Contracting & Negotiations

  • Identify, source, and onboard new overseas suppliers, hotels, DMCs, and activity partners across multiple outbound destinations.
  • Negotiate competitive rates, inclusions, and terms to maximize profitability while maintaining quality.
  • Prepare and review contracting documents, SLAs, and rate agreements with partners.
  • Maintain vendor performance database and ensure compliance with company standards and safety protocols.

Costing & Product Support

  • Prepare destination-specific costing sheets for MICE and student group programs.
  • Work closely with the operations and product teams to finalize itineraries and budgets.
  • Ensure margins are maintained as per company benchmarks.

Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with international partners and suppliers.
  • Liaise with DMCs to customize itineraries as per client and educational requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless handover from contracting to execution.

Market & Destination Research

  • Conduct research on new destinations, travel trends, and competitive pricing.
  • Analyze feedback from past programs to enhance vendor selection and negotiation strategies.
  • Suggest and develop new products or destinations for outbound MICE travel.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all contracts include safety, compliance, insurance, and liability clauses.
  • Work with operations teams to monitor vendor delivery and service quality during trips.
  • Resolve vendor-related issues, disputes, or performance gaps proactively.
