Job Summary
In this position, your role is essential in upholding compliance with tax regulations and optimizing tax processes for employees on international assignments. This position is key in handling the tax consequences of global mobility and facilitating a smooth transition for employees across different countries. Your main objective is to reduce tax-related risks and costs, while ensuring that both the organization and its employees adhere to relevant tax laws
- Review/Sign all types of US individual income tax returns.
- Demonstrate a high level of proficiency of tax technical knowledge.
- Manage the engagement team -Set performance measurements and ensure that performance goals, including engagement economics, turnaround time and quality targets are met.
- Communicate progress and project status to all stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the firm policies related to confidentiality and data privacy, client acceptance and engagement letters, tax return preparer guidelines and knowledge-sharing. Adhere to practice protocol and other internal processes consistently
Qualification: Commerce Graduate/Postgraduate, MBA.
- Experience: 6+ years in US Individual Taxation in a recognized firm or Big4.
- Should be a signer of US Individual Income tax returns for a minimum of 12-18 months.
- A US CPA or Enrolled Agent
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in team management and responsible for quality control within the team.
Work Location: Bangalore / Kolkata
