Job Description

Key Responsibilities of a Continental CDP:

Food Preparation and Production:
Preparing and cooking various continental dishes according to established recipes and standards. This includes ensuring consistent taste, quality, and presentation.
Section Management:
Managing a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., grill, pantry, hot/cold kitchen) efficiently.
Quality Control:
Maintaining high standards for food preparation, presentation, and hygiene.
Hygiene and Safety:
Ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., FSSAI norms).
Inventory Management:
Monitoring inventory, including expiration dates of raw goods.
Staff Supervision:
Supervising and training junior chefs and commis chefs.
Coordination:
Collaborating with other kitchen staff and coordinating with the service team for smooth operations.
Menu Planning:
Potentially assisting with menu planning, including developing new dishes based on customer trends.
Cost Management:
May be involved in cost analysis and waste management.
Customer Interaction:
May be required to understand customer preferences and feedback.
