Content Writer Team Lead

We are looking for an experienced Content Writer Team Lead to manage content strategy, lead a team of writers, and ensure high-quality content across all platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, editing, proofreading, and delivering content that aligns with business goals and brand voice.

Key Responsibilities: Content Strategy & Planning

• Develop and manage end-to-end content strategy aligned with marketing and business objectives
• Plan content calendars for blogs, websites, social media, and campaigns
• Coordinate with marketing, SEO, and design teams to ensure content effectiveness
• Analyse content performance and optimize strategy accordingly

Team Leadership & Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of content writers
• Assign content tasks, set deadlines, and ensure timely delivery
• Conduct regular reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain consistency in tone, style, and quality across all content

Content Editing & Review

• Edit content for clarity, structure, grammar, and brand alignment
• Ensure content meets editorial standards and SEO best practices
• Refine drafts to improve readability, engagement, and accuracy

Proofreading & Quality Control

• Proofread all content to eliminate spelling, grammatical, and formatting errors
• Ensure factual accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines
• Maintain a high standard of quality before content publication

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
• Proven experience as a content writer/editor with team leadership experience
• Strong understanding of content strategy and digital marketing
• Excellent editing and proofreading skills
• Familiarity with SEO principles and content management systems (CMS)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.)
• Knowledge of UX writing and content optimisation
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Experience

• 4–7 years of experience in content writing/editing
• 1–3 years in a team lead or managerial role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
