Position Details Position Title: Content Writer Location: Cochin (Work from Office) Work Type: Full-time Experience: Minimum 2 years Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English Literature, or Creative Writing (Master’s degree preferred) Language Requirement: Fluency in English and Malayalam Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM Salary Range: ₹23,000 – ₹30,000 per month Note: Please attach your portfolio or samples of previous work while applying. Key Responsibilities Create clear, concise, and engaging content in both English and Malayalam for a variety of platforms – social media, websites, blogs, emailers, print materials, and more. Collaborate with internal teams (design, digital, client servicing) to ideate and deliver high-quality, brand-aligned content. Ensure content adheres to brand voice, tone, messaging, and style guidelines. Assist in monthly content calendar planning , content bucket creation, and campaign strategy discussions. Provide copy support to team members, especially during tight deadlines or when colleagues are on leave. Review and guide the work of junior content writers, ensuring quality and consistency. Write scripts and captions for micro-animated videos and coordinate video planning, scripting, and shoot requirements. Contribute to internal promotions by managing blogs and pitching articles to third-party platforms. Stay updated on content trends, improve skills through regular learning, and implement response enhancement techniques to boost client ROI. Play an active role in brand positioning , creative brainstorming , and strategy development for both internal and external projects. Additional Responsibilities Provide emergency/adhoc content support for clients. Participate in client meetings and internal strategy discussions. Research and propose creative solutions for new and existing clients, as well as Monolith’s in-house initiatives.
