Versatile Content Writing Intern

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation:

  Support the content team in producing long-form content such as blogs, webpages, and in-depth articles that are informative, engaging, and SEO-friendly.

• Copywriting:

  Must have prior experience in writing compelling short-form copy, including ad creatives, social media captions, promotional content, and emailers.

• Research & Ideation:

  Conduct thorough research on industry trends, target audiences, and competitors to develop fresh, relevant content ideas.

• SEO Optimisation:

  Apply on-page SEO best practices, such as strategic keyword integration, meta descriptions, internal linking, and optimised headings.

• Editing & Proofreading:

  Review and refine content to ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand tone.

• Multi-Platform Writing:

  Adapt content formats and styles to suit various platforms like blogs, LinkedIn, Instagram, email marketing, and product pages.

• Collaboration:

  Coordinate with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to ensure content aligns with brand messaging and visual direction.

Requirements:

• Education:

  Pursuing or completing a degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field. 

• Writing Skills:

  Strong grasp of grammar, sentence structure, and engaging storytelling techniques.

• Research Ability:

  Adept at conducting thorough research on various topics.

• SEO Knowledge:

  Basic understanding of keyword research and on-page SEO principles (preferred but not mandatory).

• Adaptability:

  Ability to write in different tones, from informative and professional to creative and engaging.

• Time Management:

  Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple content assignments efficiently.

• Creativity:

  A flair for writing compelling and original content that captures the audience’s interest.

• Basic Tools:

  Familiarity with Google Docs, WordPress, or any content management system is a plus.
