We're a small but ambitious team serving founders, investors, and businesses worldwide. Our platform helps startups track investor engagement, manage due diligence, and close funding rounds faster.
The opportunity
You'll work directly with our founder to create content that helps our company grow. Your main job is writing blog articles about startups and fundraising that attract potential customers to our platform. We're a small team, so you'll have freedom to suggest topics and approaches, but the goal is clear: create content that brings traffic and converts readers into users. You'll get quick feedback and see the direct impact of your work on our metrics. This is a contract position with potential to become full-time as we grow.
What you'll be doing
Content Creation (70%)
- Writing blog posts about fundraising, venture capital, and startup growth
- Creating landing page copy that converts visitors into users
- Writing case studies and success stories from our customers
- Developing email sequences for user onboarding and engagement
- Crafting product update announcements and feature releases
SEO & Strategy (20%)
- Keyword research for the startup/VC niche
- Optimizing content for search rankings
- Building topic clusters and content pillars
- Analyzing content performance and iterating
Brand & Marketing (10%)
- Maintaining consistent brand voice across all content
- Creating social media posts (LinkedIn, Twitter/X)
- Writing product documentation and help articles
- Developing templates and playbooks for users

Who you are
Must-haves:
- 1 years of content writing experience (blog posts, web copy)
- Native or near-native English writing skills
- Understanding of SEO basics (keywords, meta descriptions, headers)
- Ability to research complex topics and explain them simply
- Experience writing for B2B SaaS or technology companies
- Self-motivated with ability to meet deadlines independently
- Reliable internet and 4-6 hours overlap with Australian business hours
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience in startup, VC, or fintech content
- Knowledge of fundraising processes
- Basic understanding of CMS systems
- Experience with email marketing tools
- Analytics tools experience (Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush)
- Portfolio showing B2B SaaS writing samples
