Job Description

Location: Remote | 0 - 2 years | Full-time | High Ownership Role


We are looking for a Content Strategist who can help us shape the voice and narrative of StapuBox and StapuGear - the sports discovery and sports gear intelligence platforms helping players make better decisions, connect with the right people, and grow in their sports journey.


What You'll Own

  • Create and manage original content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Blog, and StapuGear.
  • Research/write high-quality articles, sport-tech breakdowns, and gear insights.
  • Convert founder thoughts, updates, and insights into sharp, platform-specific content.
  • Develop IG carousels, reel scripts, and storytelling pieces that are simple and engaging.
  • Write performance-focused ad copy, landing page text, and hooks for experiments.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice across every channel and content format.
  • Track basic content performance metrics and identify what’s working, what’s not.


Your Primary Goal

  • Build a strong, credible, and memorable content presence for StapuBox + StapuGear.
  • Establish our authority in sports networking and sports intelligence.
  • Drive organic visibility via original writing, narrative clarity, and research-backed content.
  • Work directly with the founders to build the content playbook from 0 → 1.


You Should Be

  • Strong in writing - clarity, structure, research, and originality (Non AI).
  • Curious and opinionated - someone who thinks, not just executes.
  • Comfortable with social media formats, hooks, storytelling, and attention mechanics.
  • Able to simplify complex topics (gear science, player journeys, sports systems).
  • Proactive, fast-learning, and comfortable with direct feedback.
  • Interested in sports, digital content, or product-first storytelling.


We would prefer that you have

  • Experience writing for a brand, magazine, blog, Substack, or content project.
  • Basic understanding of SEO, content structure, or user psychology.
  • Familiarity with tools like Notion, Canva/Figma, Google Docs, or analytics dashboards.
  • A personal writing portfolio, blog, or sample long-form content.
  • Interest in sports tech, athlete behaviour, or sports gear.
