About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Music Content Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the music industry, a keen eye for detail, and a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of music content, from acquisition and curation to distribution and promotion.

Key Responsibilities:

* Content Acquisition and Curation:

* Source and acquire a diverse range of music content, including original tracks, remixes, and covers.

* Curate playlists and albums that align with our brand and target audience.

* Build and maintain relationships with artists, labels, and music licensing organizations.

* Content Management:

* Organize and manage our music library, ensuring proper metadata tagging and categorization.

* Monitor content performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize our content strategy.

* Handle copyright and licensing issues, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

* Distribution and Promotion:

* Distribute music content across various platforms, including streaming services, social media, and our own website.

* Develop and execute effective marketing and promotional strategies to increase visibility and engagement.

* Monitor and analyze the performance of our music content on different platforms.

* Financial Management:

* Manage music licensing fees and royalty payments.

* Prepare budgets and track expenses related to music content.

* PRS Knowledge:

* A strong understanding of the PRS system and royalty collection processes.

* Experience in managing PRS registrations and reporting.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Proven experience in music content management or a similar role.

* Deep knowledge of the music industry, including trends, artists, and genres.

* Strong understanding of digital music distribution platforms and streaming services.

* Excellent organizational and time management skills.

* Proficiency in music editing software and digital audio workstations.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* A passion for music and a creative mindset.
