Job Description: Content Lead
Job Location: Kuwait
Reports To: Quick Commerce Head/COO
Role Summary
The Content Lead owns the creation, management, and optimization of the product catalog and content for the quick commerce customer app. This role ensures that all SKUs are presented with accurate, visually appealing, and searchable content to enhance user experience and drive sales. The Content Lead will develop a robust content strategy, manage workflows with cross-functional teams, and maintain brand consistency while ensuring catalog accuracy and search relevance in a fast-paced quick commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities
● Content Strategy: Define and implement a comprehensive content strategy for the product catalog, aligning with business goals and customer expectations.
● SKU Content Management: Ensure every SKU has accurate descriptions, pack size, MRP, high-quality images, and relevant attributes.
● Workflow Coordination: Collaborate with the assortment team to streamline content creation and update workflows.
● SEO Optimization: Optimize metadata and product attributes to achieve ≥ 95% search success rate and enhance app discoverability.
● Brand Consistency: Maintain consistent brand tone, style, and visual standards across all product displays.
● Photoshoots & Visuals: Supervise photoshoots for new products to ensure high-quality, customer-facing visuals.
● Supplier Coordination: Work with suppliers to obtain missing or incomplete product data and ensure catalog completeness.
● Promotional Content: Manage content for promotions, campaigns, and seasonal offerings to drive customer engagement.
● Team Training: Train and mentor content coordinators to ensure efficient and high-quality content production.
● Catalog Audits: Conduct weekly audits to maintain ≥ 99% content accuracy and 100% catalog completeness (images and attributes).
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
● Content Accuracy: Achieve ≥ 99% accuracy in product descriptions and attributes.
● Catalog Completeness: Ensure 100% of SKUs have complete images and attributes.
● Search Success Rate: Maintain a search success rate of ≥ 95% for product discoverability.
Skills & Competencies
● Exceptional writing, editing, and content creation skills for e-commerce platforms.
● Strong understanding of e-commerce user experience (UX) and customer behavior.
● Proficiency in SEO principles and metadata optimization.
● Excellent project management skills to handle multiple workflows and deadlines.
● Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including assortment, marketing, and suppliers.
● Keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining brand consistency.
Experience & Education
● Experience: 5–7 years in e-commerce content creation, catalog management, or digital marketing, preferably in quick commerce or FMCG.
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Work Environment
● Dynamic, fast-paced quick commerce setting requiring creativity and adaptability.
● Close collaboration with assortment, marketing, and supplier teams.
● May involve occasional travel for photoshoots
