This is an exciting opportunity to join the ELT division at OUP as a Content Delivery Controller. The role offers a chance to contribute to the delivery of high-quality digital products that support learners and educators worldwide. Opportunity – the ‘what’

As a Content Delivery Controller, you will:

  • Process and deliver various digital assets (text, image, video, audio, animation, games) to internal teams and suppliers.
  • Upload content to test and live production platforms or coordinate with suppliers to ensure accurate delivery.
  • Provide project management assistance and technical support to Content Delivery Managers.
  • Integrate content into interactive templates and ensure quality assurance of digital products.
  • Support administrative tasks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and reducing manual effort.

Your work will directly impact the timely and high-quality delivery of ELT digital products, supporting OUP’s global educational mission.


About You

Essential Criteria

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), HTML, XML, Adobe Creative Suite, and InDesign.
  • Experience processing digital files in a publishing or media environment.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • High standard of literacy and numeracy; university graduate or equivalent experience.
  • Proven English language proficiency to CEFR level C1 (Advanced English).
  • Qualification or relevant experience in a digital or media environment.
  • Proven experience working effectively within a team to achieve project goals.

Desirable Criteria

  • Coding experience in a programming language such as Python.
  • Proven English language proficiency to CEFR level C2.
  • Experience in a publishing or publishing services environment.
