Job Description

Role Overview: As a Consultant in SAP Security and Authorization at Genpact, you will be responsible for a variety of key tasks related to SAP security, user roles, authorizations, and system maintenance. Your role will involve ensuring the successful production start-up, managing user accounts, designing and maintaining roles within the SAP system, and conducting risk analysis to enhance system security. Key Responsibilities: - SAP User Role Admin, Security Patches, and Application of support packages. - Experience in support and maintenance of SAP AMS/ Implementation/ Support projects for clients globally. - Apply security policies to the SAP systems as per IT Security group's guidelines. - Hands-on Configuration experience. - Managing user accounts, assigning roles and authorizations, and ensuring appropriate access privileges based on job requirements. - Designing and maintaining roles within the SAP system, defining necessary authorization objects, transactions, and fields, and ensuring compliance with SoD policies to prevent fraud or misuse of privileges. - Conducting risk analysis to identify security risks and vulnerabilities, analyzing user access rights and role assignments, and implementing measures to reduce risk and strengthen system security. - Manage system performance, upgrades, corrections, and transport management (CTS/TMS), client and landscape strategies, batch scheduling. - Provide technical upgrades, functional and technical enhancements. - Installation, upgrade, and maintenance of SAP and SAP related software products. - Maintain HANA database, perform patch and service stack upgrades. - Perform SAP Software Installation, maintenance, and administration of UNIX and Windows-based servers running SAP FI/HR/SRM/Portal, Solution Manager, Hana, Gateway). - Daily monitoring, administrating, troubleshooting, and tuning of all SAP systems. - Analyse performance bottlenecks and provide optimization techniques. - Identify and ensure incidents and requests are prioritized and assigned correctly as per Client guidelines. - Ensure SLA related KPIs are adhered to. - Experience in Application Maintenance Support. L0, L1 & L2 Responsible for the management of Client Impact tickets. Accountable for Service Restoral / Permanent Resolution of production incidents. - Experience defining, implementing, and supporting business processes. - Good understanding of incident management and change management. - Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely. - Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills. - Able to work independently and with others; self-directed; take initiative to solve problems and overcome roadblocks. Results-oriented. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing team-oriented environment. Qualifications Required: Minimum Qualifications: - Graduate or postgraduate in B Tech, IT, or MCA. Preferred Qualifications/ Skills: - Good Communication skills. - Excellent customer-facing skills that include conducting compelling technical briefings & demonstrations including issues, status reports, and resolving impediments.,
