Consultant Equity Compensation, Valuation & Disclosure

As an ideal candidate for this position, you should possess the following qualities and qualifications: Role Overview: - Extremely good in written and spoken English communication. - Maturity to understand client expectations. - Ability to interact with senior level (CEO / CXO) executives from client organization. - Attention to details and ability to understand & draft/ structure legal documents. - Good working experience in Excel, Word, and Powerpoint presentations. - Aptitude to specialize in a domain & Solution oriented creative approach. - Consulting experience shall be preferred. Key Responsibilities: - Advising companies on Equity compensation Plans emphasizing on Valuation, accounting and disclosure from SEBI/ Accounting standard perspective. - Conceptualizing solutions around designing Valuation, accounting and disclosure from SEBI/Accounting standard perspective, mainly from Corporate Laws and SEBI perspective. - Giving opinions on accounting-related aspects. - Meeting, discussion, and presentations to the client as required. - Strong communication skills (written + verbal) and comfort in senior stakeholder interaction. - Legal/regulatory mindset (given the legal documents, SEBI/corporate law angle) ideally a CS, or legal background. - Good accounting/valuation mindset (since you'll deal with valuation + accounting + disclosures). - Consulting or advisory experience (client interface, problem solving, multistakeholder). - Strong technical skills in Excel/Word/PowerPoint. - Attention to detail, ability to draft or review legal documents. - Ability to pick a domain (here equity compensation) and become an expert/go deep. - Professional maturity: able to work in a team of CAs/LLBs/CPAs and interface with clients like CEOs/CXOs.
